Final post in the Küng 'Der Anfang' series

This series has taken about 7 months, so it is good to finally post my last.

Following is a section outline of the book, followed by links to the relevant posts. I hope you enjoyed reading the posts as much as I had writing them.

What did you think of the book? Any general comments?

Part 1

A. A unified Theory for everything?
Part 1, part 2

B. God as the beginning?
Part 1, part 2, part 3, part 4

C. World creation or evolution?
Part 1, part 2, part 3

D. Life in the cosmos?
Part 1, part 2, part 3, part 4, part 5, part 6, part 7, part 8, part 9, part 10
(plus a three post response to Küng and miracles in Der Anfang: here, here, and here)

E. The beginning of the human race
Part 1, part 2, part 3, part 4

Epilog: The end of all things
Part 1, part 2

No general comments--more interesting than most syst theol, but I say bring it with the biblical studies material!

Thanks Chris, for an excellent series. It was especially helpful for those of us who can't read German.

However, this is not the time for you to rest on your laurels. It's onward and upward, into the breach of your next review. Of:

Jesus and the Eyewitnesses
Richard Bauckham

To him who is given much (like all those free books everyone sends you), much is expected. :-)

OK, John, I'll up my reading pace on that Bauckham's book! I can't say too much about it yet, however, until it is published - at least I suppose not.

Yes, I know, JB. I got the feeling recently that I ought to start behaving more like a biblio- (as opposed to theo-) blog soon!
