My thanks to Hans Küng

For kindly sending me a copy of the new book: Hans Küng – eine Nahaufnahme. A nice touch is that it arrived in the post on my last full day in Germany, and that in the front Küng wishes Anja and I all the best for, as he puts it, 'Merry Old England'!

I haven't gotten too far into the book yet, but Karl-Josef Kuschel's chapter, "Hans Küng: Neue Horizonte des Denkens", is simply brilliant – a must read for anyone interested in Küng's work.

I have admired Hans Kung since finding one of his books in the library back in 97. I then bought several of his books..I'm interested in how he is writing on "a Global Ethic". Do you know anything about it and where he is in it...what are his connections?

I think Kung's English is a bit off - I believe he was wishing "Merry Old England" best wishes on account of your return.

One of my favorite churchmen living today. Quite a gem you have there.

Hi Angie,
Have a look here for his publication list, and all those that talk about the global ethic. You can find a short intro to this in his science book.

Josh, you get an evil look!
