First the shocking, namely: that my face would appear on such a graphic, and that it would appear in such a situation. I deny everything of course. Besides, Brandon made me get the tattoo. Worse still, Will postulates an 8-point Tillingnism!

On a different front, Darrell Bock shares some thoughts about Christology in the Emergent movement.

LeRon answers some questions about relationality. His book, Christology and Science ... WOW!

Nijay (I hope I don't meet him face to face before I have learnt to pronounce his name properly!) tells us about a forthcoming festschrift in honour of both Larry Hurtado and Alan Segal that has a seriously star-studded line up.

Josh Bothell shares some nice thoughts about Gregory MacDonald's The Evangelical Universalist.

There is a helpful examination of Paul's Christological monotheism on the Sub Specie Aeterni blog.

Oh, and John Hobbins is biblioblogger of the month here. It includes the best shot of him I've ever seen! In the interview he says that: "I would like the blogging world to offer more quality resources", a suggestion that raises some interesting questions...

And, Carlsen actually flippin beat Leko in a blitz match! A future champ, surely.

Chris, I have named Chrisendom as a "Blog That Makes My Day."
See http://levellers.wordpress.com/2008/06/02/blogs-that-make-my-day/

Enjoy the reward

A blogger who shows his bum in an interview calling for 'quality' is like a politician visiting a prostitute calling for virtue.

(Sorry this is the edited version of the above post)

CHRIS - RICKY! How could you, given that you read my blog most mornings (I am sure), miss that I tagged you for the one movie meme? You should read the company I have placed you in ;-)

Cheers,

Mark

I'm not sure what's in pilgrims cup. But it can't be good for you. It's fouled up his grammatical skills pretty good.

Thanks for the shout out Chris, although I have to tell you that "Bothell" is the city I live in and not my last name. Some poor Josh Bothell out there is going to get blamed for haphazard blogging that he didn't commit...

Emergent Pilgrim, I tried adding you to my reader and it returned a blank. Any idea why?

Ah, sorry Josh!!

Jim, you can rest secure in the knowledge that you do offer quality resources, like almost none other (only a confession that you will find in my comments, not on my main blog page!). But maybe the rest of us are comforted by your bum coment ;-) I'll stick to posting about peeing intermediaries, Philonic erections and such like, then!

Chris - HUH? You need to forgive me my technological gifting is about as good as my grammar! What is a reader? Can you or anyone else tell me how to resolve this problem.

As young as Magnus Carlsen is, there is no reason he won't one day be world chess champion, unless he discovers something he likes better. Which a lot of "prodigies" in different areas do discover, alas.
