Our 4th Anniversary

Four years ago on this day I married my precious, beautiful wife, Anja.

Thank you, God!

I still have no idea how I managed to end up with such a looker. 'Divine favour', say my friends, lots of divine favour (Prov 18:22).

Congrats buddy.

The same fairy that granted you a wife like that did the same to me, and you're prettier than I am!

Mazel Tov! Divine favor? Are you sure you didn't just drug her and drag her to the altar?

Having celebrated the adventure called marriage for 17 years this past January (along with my brilliant and gorgeous bride, Rev. Kate Westmoreland-White, mother to my daughters), I can tell ya--the best is still to come. (Maybe also the worst, but this is an anniversary.)The journey is far more amazing together than by one's self.

Congratulations Chris

To think of that perfect anniversary celebration you have planned, poring over the last chapter of Jesus and the Eyewitnesses together ... makes me go all gooey.

Congratulations, Chris! I am getting married a week from Saturday, so I'm also feeling some of that "divine favour" sort of feeling these days... mixed in with a bit of the "holy shit!" sort of feeling...

Anyway, I look forward to getting into the new book (thanks again!), once we get back from honeymooning.

Grace and peace.

Dan, unsolicited advice: Take the new book on the honeymoon. You cannot spend the ENTIRE time um, er, "celebrating your love." Voice of experience. By day 3 we were both in search of a bookstore. :-)

MW-W,

I would take the book that Chris is sending, but it won't arrive in time.

However, having decided to heed your advice, I am off to pack my set of Barth's Church Dogmatics.

Of course, we were figuring that by day three we would both be off in search of a liquor/beer store, but to each their own, I suppose.

Congrats Chris.

Beauty attracts beauty. You must have a really beautiful...spirit.

(Dan, surely Barth is much better after a few brews?)
