Some positive signs for Evangelicalism in the UK
If Spring Harvest is a barometer of Evangelical opinion, then Evangelicalism, in the UK, is changing – in some ways for the better, it seems. Read the whole article here. I cannot really comment further as I've never been to SH.

"I've never been to SH."
...and you call yourself a Christian.
Tut tut ;)
Yea, I know, practically pagan. I'll have to give it a try sometime. I suppose you go every time, don't you, you subculturised drone, you.
I was at SH in Skegness and I agree that this year seemed to have a maturity that has been lacking in the past. Of course, our highlight was the appearance of Tom Wright in the big top doing a brilliant exposition of Jesus' Nazareth sermon in Luke 4, taking in the themes of the Kingfom and Jubilee - subjects not often aired at SH!
Actually I becmae a Christian at SH in 1996 but haven't been since 1999.
It was way more happy clappy back then with a heavy revivalist slant and all the usual charismatic capers which that entails.
It's good the hear that SH seems to have moved on a bit.
Oooo Wright! One day we will have to make it. Tell me, do people all stay in tents? (You answer at this point will determine whether I go or not!)
