Ulrich Wilckens on Romans
Any of you clever people have any feedback to offer me on Wilckens', Der Brief an die Römer? They are selling a one volume version here in Germany at the mo, and wondered about getting it.
It is in the reading list in - Douglas J. moo " The Epistle to the Romans - he highlights this commentary by saying - "I selected twelve commentators for particular careful study. Three factors informed my selection: exegetical excellence, theological sophisticationand represnentative significance. These commentaries may be called - to borrow a phrase from textual criticism - the "constant witnesses" in my commentary, and they are prceded in the list that follows with an asterisk. I regard these scholars as my exegetical " sparring partners," and I refer the reader to them constantly.
I am looking for an English translation ! Eric / UK
